K&N Performance Cold Air Intake - High-flow for 01-04 Ford Lightning / F150 H/D 57-2549

The K&N 57-2549 FIPK air intake system is a replacement for the factory air filter and air intake housing in certain Ford F150 models. Designed to significantly reduce intake restrictions, K&N intakes streamline and straighten airflow, allowing your F150's engine to breathe in more air than the factory assembly. This increased airflow translates to more usable power and acceleration across the engine's RPM range. The 57-2549 air intake includes a chrome-topped K&N high-flow air filter and a heat shield that fits into the existing air box space. Air is channeled through an aerodynamically engineered intake tube to the engine's throttle body, guaranteeing a power boost. The tube accommodates the factory mass air sensor, idle air, and crankcase vent lines. The oversized conical air filter can be used for up to 100,000 miles before requiring service, depending on driving conditions. This air intake is relatively easy to install, typically taking 90 minutes or less using the existing factory mounting points.
