The AWE Tuning Track Edition exhaust system for the Audi B8 S5 3.0T is crafted from T304L stainless steel and offers the same power gains as the Touring Edition, but with a louder mid-range tone due to the absence of AWE's sound-cancelling technology. This increased noise level is particularly noticeable for S-Tronic transmissions at part throttle. As a result, these exhaust systems are non-returnable for sound-related reasons.

AWE offers both resonated and non-resonated downpipes (sold separately) to further customize the exhaust sound. Resonated downpipes provide a more mellow tone, while non-resonated downpipes are the loudest option available. Both downpipe configurations feature larger diameter tubing than stock. In some cases, the factory downpipes may rattle when paired with the AWE exhaust system. AWE downpipes eliminate this rattling issue. Overall, the Track Edition exhaust system is meticulously crafted to maximize performance and durability.
