AEM Tru-Time Adjustable Camshaft Gears are designed to optimize engine performance by allowing for precise adjustments to cam timing. This is achieved through one-degree increments via laser-etched markings on the gear, enabling users to advance or retard the cam profile according to their vehicle's specific tuning needs.  These cam gears are particularly beneficial for engines with aftermarket competition camshafts, milled components, or those utilizing forced induction or high compression setups. AEM Tru-Time Adjustable Camshaft Gears are constructed from CNC-machined 6061 T-6 billet aluminum and utilize precision-cut gear teeth with a hard-anodized surface for extended wear resistance.
