Banks Power Super-Scoop is an add-on for the Ram-Air Intake System. It mounts below the front bumper, channeling cooler, denser air from outside the engine compartment into the air filter housing. This denser air improves power and fuel economy while reducing smoke and exhaust temperatures. The Super-Scoop also features drainage for rainwater and debris. It is compatible with both standard and painted bumpers.The Super-Scoop works by providing the engine with cooler air, which allows for more efficient combustion and increased power. Stock systems typically draw in warmer engine bay air, while some aftermarket filters expose the filter to hot underhood air, reducing available power.
