The Baja Designs LP9 is an LED off-road light inspired by the company's earlier 8-inch La Paz HID light. It features modern design and utilizes advanced LED technology. The LP9 uses nine forward-projecting LEDs to deliver 11,025 lumens at 105 watts, along with six LEDs for Integrated Peripheral Technology (IPT) that provide 1,140 lumens each at 10.5 watts. The IPT offers a wide 200-degree spread of usable light.

The housing is designed for efficient heat dissipation through a Direct Ducted Cooling system that channels air from the front to the rear of the light. It includes a daytime running light, low-power mode, and high-power mode to meet various lighting needs.

The LP9 comes in two variants: a standard model suitable for general off-road use and a Racer Edition designed for high-speed driving. The Racer Edition offers a similar power draw but produces a more focused light pattern for better long-distance visibility.
