The AutoMeter Digital Pro Shift tachometer is a tool designed to aid drivers in achieving consistent and precise gear changes. Equipped with a digital RPM display and a built-in shift light, the instrument allows users to monitor engine RPM and receive visual cues for gear changes. The housing design facilitates easy installation and is compatible with AutoMeter instrument mounting solutions. This instrument is compatible with a wide range of engines (1-12 cylinders) and features a high RPM operating range (up to 16,000 RPM). It offers various functionalities including single or multi-stage shift light activation with user-programmable settings for each gear, launch light for drag racing applications, and a selection of shift light colors for optimal visibility. The brightness of the LED shift light can be adjusted to suit user preferences. The digital numeric RPM display can be disabled if desired, allowing drivers to focus solely on the shift light activation. The instrument also includes peak RPM memory recall and 80 seconds of engine RPM playback for performance analysis.
