Banks Power Derringer is an in-line tuner designed to optimize engine performance. It utilizes multiple data inputs, including throttle position, RPM, and coolant temperature, to deliver real-time adjustments for increased torque and power across the entire operating range. Derringer features six adjustable power levels, allowing drivers to choose their desired performance level. The highest setting offers best-in-class acceleration, while lower settings prioritize fuel efficiency or towing capability. Unlike competing tuners, Derringer connects to the vehicle's OBD-II diagnostic port, enabling real-time monitoring and safety features. An active safety system constantly monitors engine health and automatically reverts to stock power if any issues are detected. Additionally, Derringer prevents power addition when the engine is too cold or overheated. This comprehensive approach ensures safe and reliable performance gains.
