The Banks Power Derringer Tuner is an engine performance tuner designed to optimize power delivery across the entire RPM range. It utilizes multiple data inputs, including throttle position, RPM, vehicle speed, air-fuel ratio, knock sensor readings, coolant temperature, and exhaust gas temperature, to mimic the engine control unit's operation. This allows for real-time adjustments to fuel and boost pressure for optimal performance and safety. Derringer offers multiple power levels, with the highest setting providing the best-in-class acceleration and towing improvements. Unlike competitors, the Derringer integrates with the vehicle's OBD-II diagnostic system for comprehensive monitoring and control.

The system prioritizes safety through features like ActiveSafety, which continuously monitors engine health and automatically reverts to stock power in case of any issues.
