The K&N 57-3067 FIPK air intake system replaces your vehicle's restrictive factory air filter and air intake housing. K&N intakes are designed to significantly reduce intake restriction by smoothing and straightening airflow, allowing your engine to inhale more air than the factory air filter assembly. A high-density polyethylene (HDPE) rotationally-molded tube increases airflow volume to your engine, guaranteeing an increase in horsepower and torque. More air means more usable power and acceleration throughout the engine's RPM range. These systems feature a washable, reusable High-Flow Air Filter with oiled cotton filter media. The 57-3067 air intake includes a chrome-topped K&N high-flow air filter and a lidded heat shield that fits into the previous air box space. Air is directed past the mass air sensor and through an aerodynamically engineered intake tube into the engine's throttle body, ensuring a guaranteed power gain. The tube accommodates the factory mass air sensor and a replacement silicone crank case vent hose. The oversized cone-shaped air filter can be used for up to 100,000 miles before servicing is required, depending on driving conditions.
