K&N Performance Cold Air Intake - High-flow for 01-04 Lexus IS300 L6-3.0L 57-9018

K&N 57-9018 FIPK air intake system is designed to replace the restrictive factory air filter and air intake housing in certain Lexus IS300 models. The intake system is engineered to significantly reduce intake restriction by smoothing and straightening airflow, allowing the engine to inhale a larger volume of air compared to the factory air filter assembly. This increased airflow results in more usable power and acceleration across the engine's RPM range. The system includes a carbon fiber topped K&N high-flow air filter and a heat shield that fits into the existing air box space. Air is directed through an aerodynamically engineered intake tube into the engine's throttle body, ensuring a guaranteed power gain. The air intake assembly accommodates the factory mass air sensor, fresh air intake, and a replacement silicone evap vent line. The oversized air filter is designed for up to 100,000 miles of use before requiring service, depending on driving conditions. Installation is relatively straightforward, typically taking 90 minutes or less using existing factory mounting points. Required tools include screwdrivers, a socket set, and wrenches.
