K&N 57 Series FIPK Performance Cold Air Intake for 00-04 Dodge Dakota/Durango V8-4.7L 57-1516

The K&N FIPK air intake system is a replacement for your vehicle's restrictive factory air filter and air intake housing. Designed to significantly reduce intake restriction, K&N intakes enhance air flow smoothness and straightness, allowing your engine to inhale a larger volume of air than the factory assembly. This increased airflow translates to more usable power and acceleration across the engine's RPM range. The 57-1516 air intake includes a chrome-topped K&N high-flow air filter and a heat shield that fits into the existing air box space. The tube accommodates the factory air temperature sensor and vent hose. The oversized, oval-tapered cone-shaped air filter can be used for up to 100,000 miles before requiring servicing, depending on driving conditions. This air intake is relatively easy to install, utilizing existing factory mounting points and common tools.
