K&N crankcase vent filters are suitable for a variety of applications, including racing, vintage cars, and classic carbureted engines where owners want to improve appearance.  The filters are available in multiple styles with universal mounting to fit a wide variety of valve covers. Constructed with a washable synthetic filter media, they are designed for extended use and can be cleaned and reused.  Some styles include shields for additional protection. The top plates and shields are chrome plated for durability and aesthetics, and some inlet tubes are zinc plated.  The filters come pre-oiled and ready to use, and can be driven up to 1/4 inch of debris before airflow restriction necessitates cleaning.  CARB compliant in all states except California, legal in California only for racing vehicles.
