K&N custom air cleaner assemblies are designed for racers who demand superior air flow and aesthetics. These assemblies are compatible with engines that utilize round element air cleaner housings and feature K&N's renowned air filters, which deliver more air flow than other comparable assemblies. Available in four distinct designs, there is a perfect assembly to suit various preferences. Each complete assembly includes a base, element, and top plate. K&N air filter assemblies employ a surgical cotton fabric element impregnated with oil to serve as a tack barrier. Sandwiched between layers of aluminum screen wire, the square holes in the cotton capture and straighten turbulent air, resulting in improved air flow due to the faster movement of air in a straight line. Assemblies include an element, top and bottom plates, and are offered in a range of sizes and styles.
