AEM CD-7/CD-7L Dash Plug & Play Adapter Harness for OBDII CAN Bus - 30-2217

AEM OBDII CAN Plug & Play Adapter Harness allows CD Dashes to function as complete racing displays for track day enthusiasts. This is particularly useful when combined with a CD-5 Carbon or CD-7 Digital Dash and the Vehicle Dynamics Module (VDM). The VDM adds GPS, 3-axis accelerometers and gyroscopes for features like track mapping, lap times, and critical vehicle data (G-loads, roll, pitch, yaw).

For CD Dash owners with existing CAN OBD-II capabilities, the adapter harness enables adding additional channels through the OBD connection without extra wiring. Once connected, the dash can identify and select available channels from the vehicle's CAN bus, allowing users to customize the display, set alarms, and log data (if using a CD logging dash).

While data transmission speed is predetermined by the vehicle manufacturer, the AEM harness allows users to prioritize channels for optimal performance.
