The K&N 69-7081-1TS Typhoon air intake system is a high-performance air induction system designed to enhance airflow and power output in select Infiniti G35 models. By replacing the restrictive factory air filter and intake housing with a free-flowing, mandrel-bent aluminum tube, this system reduces airflow resistance and allows the engine to inhale a larger volume of air. This increased airflow translates to improved power and acceleration throughout the engine's RPM range. The 69-7081-1TS air intake includes a high-flow K&N air filter that is designed to last up to 100,000 miles under normal driving conditions. The filter is housed in a black rubber-topped enclosure and directs air through the intake tube to the engine's throttle body, resulting in a noticeable power gain. The intake tube features a durable silver powder-coat finish and accommodates the factory mass air sensor and crankcase vent hose.
