Red Line MTL is a 75W80 GL-4 manual transmission lubricant designed to offer excellent gear and synchronizer protection. The 75W low-temperature viscosity allows for easy gear changes in cold environments, while the 80W high-temperature viscosity provides adequate lubrication to reduce wear and noise. This balanced performance is further enhanced by a coefficient of friction that promotes smooth shifting.

Red Line MTL is compatible with a wide range of transmissions, including those found in BMW, Honda/Acura, Ford Focus, Mini Cooper, Land Rover/Range Rover, Mitsubishi, and Dodge/Jeep vehicles. It is also a suitable replacement for specific GM, Ford, and Chrysler fluids, and is safe for transmissions with brass synchronizers due to the absence of wear-causing additives found in some GL-5 oils.

In addition to its applicability in GL-4 applications, Red Line MTL can also be used in GL-1, GL-3, and situations where special synchromesh fluids are specified.
