Red Line MT-90 is a 75W90 GL-4 synthetic transmission gear oil designed for improved gear protection and smoother shifting in manual transmissions and transaxles. While similar in viscosity to some motor oils (SAE 5W40/10W40), MT-90 offers specific benefits for transmissions. Compared to MTL, a lighter weight Red Line oil, MT-90 provides a slightly higher viscosity for certain applications.

MT-90 is popular for use in Nissan, Mazda, and Toyota transmissions, but is also compatible with a variety of other applications calling for GL-4 gear oil.
