Red Line 75W 140NS Synthetic Gear Oil GL-5 (Set of 4 x 1 Gallon) 57105

Red Line GL-5 gear oil is formulated for superior drivetrain protection and efficiency. It offers excellent lubrication and a high viscosity index, reducing operating temperatures. This gear oil surpasses API GL-5 specifications and contains extreme pressure additives for enhanced wear protection.

While suitable for most limited-slip differentials, it lacks friction modifiers found in Red Line's 75W90 GL-5 gear oil. This makes it a popular choice for transmissions in classic cars and trucks, particularly those prone to noisy or rough shifting. It can also be mixed with other Red Line gear oils to adjust viscosity or used with a limited-slip friction modifier for custom performance in racing applications. The non-corrosive formula ensures compatibility with all synchronizer materials.
