Red Line 75W140 Synthetic Gear Oil GL-5 (Set of 4 x 1 Gallon) 57915

Red Line GL-5 gear oil is formulated for superior protection and improved differential efficiency. It offers excellent lubrication, high viscosity index, and reduces operating temperatures. This gear oil surpasses API GL-5 specifications. While previously known as Lightweight gear oil, the new formula includes friction modifiers compatible with clutch-type limited-slip differentials (LSDs) eliminating the need for additional modifiers in most cases.

Important to note, this product is not suitable for most manual transmissions or transaxles due to its increased slipperiness, which can lead to shifting problems. Red Line GL-5 gear oil is recommended for applications requiring API GL-5, GL-6, MT-1, MIL-L-2105E and SAE J2360 specifications.

These products contain the extreme pressure additives necessary for ultimate protection road cars and racing vehicles, as well as friction modifiers (except NS) for proper limited-slip operation
