It is a mixture of cleaning solvents and corrosion inhibitors that can remove carbon and powder residue, copper fouling, and lead fouling. The solvent can also remove old oils and grease. In addition, it leaves behind a thin layer of rust and corrosion inhibitor on metal surfaces. The formula is claimed to be safe for use on polymers and factory applied firearm finishes.

This Lucas product is also designed for ultrasonic cleaners. Its high flash point makes it suitable for heated tank units. The solvent can be used directly from the bottle in ultrasonic cleaners, eliminating the need for mixing or rinsing agents. This can save time and money during the cleaning process.
