Banks Power BigHead Wastegate Actuator addresses limitations of the stock actuator in turbocharged engines. As exhaust pressure builds, the stock unit prematurely releases pressure, reducing power in the mid-range. This Banks upgrade features a larger diaphragm and increased spring pressure. By keeping the wastegate valve closed longer, BigHead Actuator allows for higher boost pressure to be achieved sooner. Once peak pressure is reached, the actuator precisely controls the wastegate position, resulting in sharper acceleration and improved mid-range pulling power. Compatible with vehicles manufactured after January 1999.
