Banks Power Techni-Cooler Intercooler System is designed to address the lack of an intercooler in 1994-1997 Power Stroke engines. It achieves this by replacing the stock intercooler with a larger, more efficient unit that includes mandrel-bent high-flow boost tubes, large aluminum end tanks, a wide-open inlet and outlet, and a thick core area. This design allows for increased airflow and improved cooling of the intake air, resulting in denser air entering the engine. Denser air improves combustion efficiency, leading to higher continuous power output, better fuel economy, and lower exhaust gas temperatures (EGTs). The system also incorporates a Twin-Ram manifold inlet assembly to ensure even distribution of air to both sides of the engine for smooth power delivery.
