Upon activation, it immobilizes internal gears, synchronizing axle shaft rotation and ensuring optimal traction by directly tying both wheels to the ring gear's rotation. This feature maintains maximum traction consistently. Conversely, when disengaged, it functions akin to a conventional open differential, promoting smoother, safer driving.
